It’s been a tough month for The Elevator Conspiracy. We’ve lost two members, bringing us down to a trio, the core that we started things off with.

Our saxophone man, and sometime musical director, moved south to Houston where his fiance was going for work — We wish you well, Mike. Before he left, though, he did receive the status of Life Member of The Elevator Conspiracy, so he’ll pop up here and there, for surprise appearances and the like. We’ll miss you, man!

Willbur Moore has decided to leave the group to pursue other endeavors. We wish you luck, Will!

As well, we’re working with some other folks, musically, but we’re going to keep that under wraps for now, with more to come.

Festival of the Sun rocked… it was the first set we’ve done where we kept the jams in the structure of the songs, and in so doing really expanded our musical boundaries. Next show is at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing.

I’ve been told that there will be some pictures of the show to come, and by all means, if you have some, post ‘em!

To everyone who came out last night at the Basement 414, thank you! It was great a show and all of the bands sounded great. Extra special thanks to the Basement 414, Darrin Higgins for the poster, and his band Greasy Trigger Finger, as well as El Es Daize.  More info to come on the WCBN show in a couple weeks.

Thanks again!

We’ve culled down and prepared for posting the Lansing Catholic Central show from a couple weeks ago – Download it here: http://www.theelevatorconspiracy.com/music/elcon_lcc_03242010.mp3

This is truly one for the history books, as it’s Willbur’s debut with the group, and as always the LCC audience was great. Enjoy!

That’s what our first show with singer Will Moore was, at Lansing Catholic Central Haiti Benefit, a success. We were still working out some of the rust, but Will made a great showing fronting the band and it’s nice to have the maiden voyage behind us.

The LCC audience, as always, was fantastic, and Res Publica, Ten to Impact, The Green Hot Chuy Peppers, and Danny Tran were also great. Hopefully, we’ll get to share the stage with these great folks again soon!

We took some new band photos as well as shot video of the show, which we’ve yet to look at, but hope to post here on the site soon.

Thanks to everyone that came out, and we look forward to seeing more of you!
